Where Community Voices Become Lasting Change
The Community Centre for Integrated Development (CCID) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization based in Buea, Cameroon. Established in 2016, CCID operates on the belief that meaningful change begins at the community level. We work directly with local
groups and community leaders to promote gender justice, uphold human rights, and build inclusive, sustainable development pathways.
Working with communities and stakeholders through advocacy, evidence generation and capacity strengthening to facilitate the mainstreaming of services, practices and attitudes that promote gender justice, inclusivity and sustainable development.

At CCID, gender justice is at the heart of our mission to create inclusive and equitable communities. While women and girls represent more than half of Cameroon’s population, they continue to face systemic barriers to education, health, economic opportunity and safety.
Human Rights Promotion
Human rights are central to CCID’s mission. We believe everyone has the right to live in dignity, free from violence, discrimination and oppression. Through training, legal support and public education, we help individuals and institutions.
